The Palmer House Hilton

The hotel is in a great location, close to major attractions like The Chicago Art Institute. It is a grand building, the main lobby is grand, feels like a set for a movie about the roaring 1920s. The rooms have a classic feel, not shiny and modern, but they have all the amenities you'd expect.

Overall, the Polar House is a very nice place to stay. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for walking to shops and restaurant. It was easy to find a taxi if you needed to get a ride somewhere. Parking was literally right across the street and the Palmer house paid for it.

Location is exceptional! Public areas are beautiful and well-kept up. Appreciate the magnified mirror in bathroom and double closets and bathrooms. Lovely view from window. Friendly reception/check-in staff. Tiffany peacock doors are outstanding.

The location was great. Housekeeping staff were friendly and everything was clean. Inside the building there is a Starbucks, candy store, and gift shop. The hotel also has a coffee shop, restaurant, and bar.

Location close to Chicago Theater is reason we stay here and Palmer House never disappoints! Facility is old but maintained very well, and still has a wonderful ambiance to it. Our room was comfortable and spacious. Bed and pillows were new and in excellent condition. The employees are always helpful and considerate each time we have been to Palmer House. A special shout out to Oscar at check-in, who was very calm and helpful even with a long, slow check in line due to computers that were slow and wanting to crash!
